Are there any required vaccinations before visiting Thailand?
What if I'm doing a year in Korea and I want to take a week-long trip to Thailand from there- would I have to get any vaccines or take any pills before leaving Korea for Thailand?
I hear that a lot of people have aids in Thailand - do you ever worry that you might contract it through a cut on your hand or something like that? |

I can't comment on HIV/AIDS or the requirements for Korea, but for my Thailand vaccs I am getting (or renewing):
Hepatitis A
Typhoid
Yellow fever
Japanese encephalitis
Hepatitis B
Rabies
Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
Tetanus-diphtheria
This Link has more details and comments on requirements based on area and length of stay. Hope that helps! |
