|
|
Hi
In a few months I will begin work in Osaka earning 270,000 yen per month with rent subsidised at 55,000 yen. what would be the typical expenditure for a teacher living in this area, in terms of living costs, socialising, travel etc?
Thanks

aren't there a lot of very detailed posts about this already? The short answer is it completely depends on your lifestyle. |

You know, it may very well depend on his/her lifestyle. Having that said, there is still an AVERAGE. The concept of average means you take the highs, the lows, and find out whats in the middle. I remember I was trying to do a time motion study for an old employer, I'd ask people how long, on average, they thought it took them to complete a task. They'd say - it depeeeends, it changes with the amount of calls we get, the files we're given, ya ya ya ya ya. There is still an average. I'm not trying to start trouble, K dynamic, but that is just one of my peeves. I'm sorry. lol.
OP - seriously, though, this has been asked a bunch of times. Read the links Canuck put up and then figure out your own average. |
