If you've done the DELTA within the last three or four years, can you suggest any preparation I may do for the course, specifically anything I might read.

A course in Language teaching(practice and theory) by Penny Ure. Your tutors probably use this as a skeleton for your course. |

Longman Dictionary of Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics.
Decent phonology books but you can get a lot off the internet .

I would have a goose thru A-Z of ELT a new book by Thornbury. I just recently passed - hurray! Thought the course was heavy on the reading...feel like a genius already though and my students have noticed the difference...(?) |

Under the old system there was a league table of which centres had the highest pass rate. Number one was in Spain(I think Madrid), number two ITI here in Istanbul and number 3 was somewhere in South America(I know not very helpful)
Does this list? stat still exist? |
