School One:
No correcting homework.
25 teaching hours per-week.
10 unpaid hours, nothing more.
No signing in. I only punch in.
No calculating hours at the end of the month.
No recording grades, no telephone tests.
No probation.
School Two:
Correct homework up to 3 hours per-day.
20 teaching hours per-week.
15-20 unpaid hours.
Punching in and signing in 'for each class.'
Must calculate your hours at the end of the month.
Record grades, telephone tests, etc.
Probation
Guess which one is my former job, or which is more alligned with a decent workplace, or not alligned with the big chain school some here have applauded? |

Yes, really.
I've been there before. But not with them. Maybe the two of you just didn't "fit" together. Don't think of it as a rejection. Think of it as an escape from twelve months of hell. You didn't like it there anyway. A blessing in disguise as you may. These things are quite common as I've come to know in Taiwan. |
