I wrote a long version, but it logged me off in the process and I'm in an expensive NetCafe, so...

Any suggestions or tips for finding an apartment (or a good guest house, if there are any) just to the west of Harajuku and Shibuya near the Chiyoda line preferably (goes directly to my current job, so won't be a hassle, just a longer commute and it's cheap for the distance)? Or near the Keio or Odawara lines, where I can easily transfer to Chiyoda. I'd like to avoid key money and needing a gaurantor of course.

I currently pay around 65000 yen/mo through a Nova apartment, but it's in a Chiba town where most apartments are cheaper...it's 3 person, shared bathroom, and my room is 3 tatami sized, so most people I've talked to say it's not a good deal.
