Whats up everyone, I'm looking to travel to Taiwan in middle of October. I was hoping to be leaving in 2 weeks but some $ problems came up so i had to push the date back. Anyways...will I have any trouble finding a teaching position during this time? Any advice helps. Thanks

Jobs are available year round in Taiwan. I suggest that you read through posts here as many of these sorts of questions have been answered many times before.

October may be too late for areas outside of Taipei. The market tends to be more seasonal in the more neglected areas of Taiwan outside of Taipei.
I would strongly suggest that you start in Taipei if you are coming in October to find a job as a teacher on Taiwan.
Be advised the wages and benefits continue to deteriorate on Taiwan not just for teachers but the entire population as the local economy continues in a downward spiral.
The overall number of available positions also is in decline as the age demographics of Taiwan are changing dramatically (less children means less students).
Please read this.

Good luck!
