Gday everyone !!

I got this job in Japan, and frantically I am not sure about them ..

They are Wishborn Global Communication / Educational Links. This job will be based in the Fukuchiyama region (Kyoto)

Firstly I got the job a little too easy, which kind of set off alarm bells. Secondly, they need me ASAP, so the visa process will be carried out in Japan once I arrive.
Thirdly the contract he sent me had all the important parts left blank, for example the pay etc. Its mostly conversation school work from what I can make of the unclear schedule he sent me; with some other freelance looking stuff.

I dont know. Maybe I am lucky to secure this job and should be over the moon~ But one thing I have learned from this business is that when something seems too good to be true, it often is. I have been to Korea before, and so enough said about in my trust for these ESL mobs =b

But what do you guys think and does anyone know this mob?

Cheers =b

Do not accept a job where there salary is not on the contract.

This has been brought up before, found through a simple search.

This person also recently posted that he works for Wishborn. Why not private message him/her and see if he/she will help.

Illegal as hell. Contracts are supposed to contain clear descriptions of your working hours, time off, and pay (amount and schedule).

The Labor Standards Law stipulates in Article 15 that an employer shall clarify the wages, working hours and other working conditions for employees when making out a labor contract.

Could be legitimate or not. Have they even started the visa process by this point? They don't have to start it after you arrive.

From your description, give this offer a pass. Sounds very illegal.

hey guys,

thanks everyone for your info, help, and advice.

that one forum specifically warning of the Wishborn company was a worry..

they have told me outside the contract, 250000, just a worry why they did not fill that in on the contract..

no worries everyone,

cheers

Don't work anywhere until you have the work visa in hand, otherwise you will be working illegally and will have no rights here. Don't believe them that they need a teacher right away. It is their problem, not yours, even if they are telling the truth which they probably aren't.
