| Need information on Manarat al-Riyadh. Like how much do they pay and what are the benefits. I can't find a website for them, does anyone know what it is? I am looking for a job in Saudi, but I only have a BA and Tefl from an accredited University and two years of volunteer ESL teaching/tutoring at some refugee centers here in America. |

| Manarat have a bad reputation.Only go there if you are really desperate and under no circumstances send your kids there. |

| I don't know anything about work conditions in Manarat but I do know a few 'teachers' who have worked there. Let's just say that they were not la creme de la creme.... |

I worked there in the early nineties. Lovely kids in the English section (mainly Egyptians and Pakistanis though there was the odd Saudi and even an American jew).
I am told that pay and conditions have declined somewhat since. Also they now only appear to be taking Moslem teachers.
Whether they would take you with no school teaching experience is another matter. |

Skullydude06,
I am currently working for Manarat Al-Sharkia in Al-Khobar and I am very happy here. I'm not aware of the situation in Riyadh though. I know we may need a couple of teachers for the next academic year. If you are interested, you may e-mail me your cv on [email protected] and I can then forward it on to the right person.
