Just noticed these contracts being offered - in the light of recent unfavourable notices posted on this forum, are they worth considering? |

How desperate are you for the work? that would seem the deciding factor in a situation like this...

If you don't mind living in the desert with no transportation, then it might be worth considering. I know they are moving faculty to the on-campus housing, so I assume you'd live there as well. (ADU is about a 25 minute drive to Abu Dhabi) |

Does anyone have any info on Abu Dhabi University Tawteen English program or any information about working at this school in general?
I just signed a contract and am trying to get quick info what its all about.
Are they reputable? Treat their teachers well? Renew and extend the 2 month contracts typically? General living and working conditions.Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks |

Do a search of this section and you will see what a nightmare this place has been since it has opened. The fact that it is offering these ridiculously short term contracts is indicative of its lack of professionalism and the fact that experienced teachers will not stay much longer than this.
As I said above... it is a job for those desperate for a paycheck... and limited credentials...
