I see that Booz Allen is still looking for teachers. The company has a very good reputation in the US and the benefits look excellent Is there some kind of catch? I mean apart from having to endure KSA. I've heard Westerners are now allowed to travel to Bahrain on weekends...True? |

Up to the employer. Most decent employers let you have a multiple exit/re-entry visa. Boose Allen Hamiliton is one of these. Their teaching operation in Eastern Province is based in Jubail where they teach naval officers. Annapolis it is not. |

I spoke to the guy who runs this gig in Jubail a couple of days ago and it sounds really good.(I'm in Jubail now.)Good pay ($45-65 000) , on a western compound, shared car. Only BAe is a better deal out here. |

I had an office mate who worked there. He left to come to JIC for some reason.
One problem he had was waiting nearly a year for the iqama. Efficient they are not.
I think at Jubail you get the officers to teach, whereas at TINS you get the recruits. Direct hires at the navy base get paid less; however I know of one who has been there some years so it doesn't seem that bad.
Come biffin, tell us where in Jubail you are working. A PM will do. |

A while back one of the teachers at Booz Allen was shot in his office. He later died of his wounds.
Mind you that could happen anywhere. KSA is actually quite a safe environment - apart from the danger of death in a car accident.
