| Hey, I did a keyword search but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any idea how large a collection of English language books the Bangkok Public Library has, and whether foreign teachers living in Bangkok are allowed to check books out? Thanks .... Michael |

90% of Thais hate reading. It makes the brain work and is therefore deemed a non-fun not worthwhile activity. But Thais do enjoy reading the latest Japanese comics, though

This is probably your best bet. Not for teaching related material though. I think you must have been living in Thailand for 3 or 6 months before you can join. Not sure if that is still the case. I joined about a year ago. Very good service.
