You didn't mention what kind of visa you've got!
And if you look at your visa carefully, it will have mention of "S" Singular or "M" for Multiple entries!
No matter how long you have been outside China you can always return on an unexpired visa provided it is of the multiple-entry kind. |

Apart from your passport visa for China, the PSB would have also included the Z Visa. If this is what you refer to as Valid 'til 2007/06 then the simple answer is YES, you can come back, get a job and get it renewed by whichever province you end up in.
Did you submit your Foreign Experts certificate when you left? (the little 'red' book) |
