Dractalks---you KNOW what the sentence means you are just picking a fight...Tell us what is so wrong with it...(Or mine ....you are making me nervous...the grammar hooligans are here....Back into exile---all of you!!!)
To the OP I think it is all -in China - a verbal agreement so find one you can trust. If they break the contract what can you REALLY do about it??? 40 hours??? That would be about 60 ---40 minute classes a week. Crazy!!!

This may be stretching it but could it be that Dracs is "extracting the michael" (means taking the mickey, means making a joke of...) out of the Chinese why of learning English.

I mean, when I have had conversations with senior school or university Chinese students, they do what Dracs has done in my last post called "adverts misleading and misrepresentative".

For example, the Chinese students start up a conversation with you by asking your advice, then you begin to give them an answer, such as, "I advise you to articulate your observation to TEFL.com administrators". Then the Chinese say, for example, "articulate" that means "to speak", etc.

I think this might be what Dracs is doing here. But let me ask the question, What did you mean in that post of yours Dracs?
