I have heard that there are web sites or links where you can view any Taiwanese schools that have been "blacklisted" for whatever reason. Does anyone know where I can find these? Or has anyone heard anything about "Sun Japanese, English, French School and Cafe" in Taichung? Thx |

This is a newer list. Not bad, if you don't mind a few pop ups.

Please note that it is common practice for schools to change their names after getting a bad reputation. Schools that get a bad reputation will usually buy into a franchise. A lot of Joy schools are like this, as the franchise has no control over it's franchised schools. The best way to find out about a school is to talk to the currently employed or previously employed foreign teachers there. |

Where do you get this stuff EOD? Looking purely from a complaints point of view, or lack of in the case of Joy, Joy has got to be one of the better chains to work for. According to their site they have over 200 schools islandwide, yet there are only a couple of complaints that I can find about them. Compare that to Hess and Kojen, and I think that anyone can see that they are probably a pretty safe bet for those wanting to work at a chain. Check it out yourself: www.joy.com.tw |
