In a flat world:

- One teacher will give a video lecture to students around the world.
- Hired goons will be responsible for classroom management.
- Marking will be ousourced to Bangladesh.

What's in the future for teachers?

As long as the world needs good quality English teaching, none of this will happen.

Except maybe the outsourcing of marking to Bangladesh.

Yup, and there are lots of English teachers that are natives of India who are working with clients around the world for less than $10 US per hour. A lot of them work online. As with many other industries, it would be pretty hard for a teacher to live in a more expensive country and compete with them on price.

The world is indeed flat!
