| If I understand correctly, DSL is more expensive in Taipei than cable? That seems odd coming from the US where it is the exact opposite. How is the connection speed? I also read that many places are switching to voip for phone connections. Anyone have any experience using Skype in Taiwan? Is the quality good making calls back to the US? |

Can't speak to the Internet question but I use Skype to call my elderly, hard-of-hearing mother. It works as well as a regular phone.
