|
|
I am planning on going Taiwan in September.
I have a foundation degree and am going to apply with Hess, as i know they will accept me as i have already spoken to them.
However, my girlfriend doesnt not have a degree, and wanted to know how she may gain work.
Can she work part time only, or maybe part time with 2 or so schools to build up a full time wage??
Any advice as to how to approach this issue?
Could she qualify to teach through tefljobplacement.com scheme??
Or is it a case of getting there, and approaching schools in person for her?
Would she need to do visa runs?? If so where do people go to do this?? |

There are already a lot of illegals here, so it could be slim-pickings for her, and she's going to have a hard time getting into a good working environment.
Good luck. |

Getting work will not be the problem. Getting legal residence will be. There are plenty of places that will be willing to hire your girlfriend. The problem is they won't be able to get her a work permit and resident visa without the appropriate qualifications. Without a resident visa, she's looking at visa trips every 60 days and the possibility that she may be refused each time. Her other option is to go to recognized Mandarin training center and study Chinese. |
