It is for real. The program has been discussed in several threads on this forum, and it bewilders me that more Americans don't look into that avenue before posting the repeated question of how to work here legally...The assistantship was my first work experience in France, and I have now been here three years.

There is a plethora of advice regarding the program, etc. from current and past teaching assistants. |

Similar pogrammes are available for other European countries. I got my introduction to TEFL back in the 1960's as a 'Lehrassistent' in Germany. |
