also called unisim. one building. plans to double building space soon. many students there for adult education courses. other students there taking courses in global partnership programs -- two from US i think and at least one from Australia--taking university as opposed to adult ed courses. located next to a polytechnic institute that has more than the two cafeterias at SIM. private school. not considered a university by some. salaries vary depending on employer. unsure what they are or their benefits, but can include housing for expats. one may also have to pay taxes in country of origin as well as in singapore. so, that's a factor, too. students pay to get in vs. test scores that are quite restrictive for many other higher ed. institutions in singapore such as nus, which is quite prestigious. |
