Do you have a good answer to the question, what is the difference between like and as?
Thanks

| 'Lika' is a mountainous region in Croatia ... 'as' is an English preposition, adverb, conjunction and (occasionally) pronoun. |

There is no "good" answer, because the answer depends a lot on the usage.
See pp.312-314 of Swan's Practical Englsh Usage. (Yes, 3 pages of explanations.) |

The difference? You mean there is only one?
Are you talking about difference in meaning? Usage? How to construct sentences using them?
Perhaps you could give us some example sentences.
I once had a fairly high-level student who asked me what the difference between "as" and "when" was. I didn't know what she meant but she gave me the example "When I was walking to school" and "As I was walking to school". |
