Hi & pleasetameetcha!
I've been creeping on this & other forums for a few months now, and thought I'd introduce myself!
I'm a recent BA graduate (English literature & creative writing) and am thinking seriously of coming to Hanoi to take the CELTA course at Language Link in August or September. As a Canadian, does anybody have any information on what is required to procure a work permit? I've heard it's easier for us Canucks to get one, but there is very little specific information out there on the internet.
As an aside, if anybody has something thusfar unpublished to say about CELTA at LL in Hanoi, feel free to let me know! |

The Canadian Consulate in HCMC is right across from Notre Dame on Dong Khoi -- you will find plenty of people with the info you need on De Tham as well. |

Hey, thanks for the line Micro--but I'm not in Vietnam yet, just trying to get stuff in order before I head out the door here in the Great White North. The Vietnamese Embassy in Canada asked me to call across-country, but I haven't been next to a phone with a long-distance in a while, so I thought I'd try here in the meantime & maybe get some new info posted.
Thank you again! |
