I'm sorry if this is a repetition, but I want to make sure I have this all straight before I start doling out the money.
Based on what I have read here, the best bet, if you aren't accepting employment before going, is to get a visitor visa, so that you don't have to do a visa run (I really don't want to). I'm going to buy a one-way to HK with a 45 day stayover in Taipei for this. I'm assuming it will work at the TECO here in L.A.
I'm fine doing this, I just want to make sure there isn't a better way.
I'm assuming that when I find work they will sponsor a resident (?) visa, work permit, and ARC. Please lemme know if I've misunderstood anything.
thanks,
R. |
