Linguarama Madrid - Headquartered in Calle Orense in north-central Madrid. They usually offer a fixed-term, temporary contract covering the academic year (Sep-Jun). The contract is usually for 20 to 25 hours per week which they will pay in full whether you teach all the contracted hours or less than the contracted hours. It's up to Linguarama to fill the hours they contracted you for. You will have to pay tax and social security but you will get paid holidays, you get paid if a class is cancelled and you can collect unemployment over the summer.

The pay is not great when you work it out on a per hour basis (a bit less than 10 Euros/hour) BUT they give you a monthly salary of about 900 Euros (after tax and social security) whether you work the full number of hours or not.

The pay at Linguarama is not great and you can certainly earn more teaching for other schools. Linguarama is a good option if you can live on what they pay you and you just want to work for one company.

They have a mix of work, you may have to teach in their school's classrooms and/or you may have to travel to client sites to give classes.

I can't comment on the other 2 locations.

Regards,

Jim Ross,
EBC TEFL training Madrid.
