And I am not talking about May 1st 1977.
Metro and buses all cancelled along Halaskargaz today. I had to walk 40 minutes to class this morning(I was late) I tried to get a taxi but people were literally fighting for the odd empty taxi. (saw a great uppercut from one guy)
Has anyone else had any transport problems today?
seems to be kicking off a bit in Taksim square with riot police rushing crowds and tear gas, etc.(live on sky tv) |

Will you be in Balans tonight then? I'll round up the boys and get them off the sofa. |

The admin chick at our office out in İkitelli took 5 hours to get here from Fenerbahe this morning. She looked pretty fried. I guess 5 hrs in a servis bus will do that to anyone.
I was going in the right direction- out of Taksim via Tophane. We passed by long queues of stopped vehicles in the Hardware Street between the Galata bridge and the Hali bridge, with several busloads of robocops being dropped off at the corner, by the armoured vehicles that are normally kept in Tarlabaşı. They were boarding and searching public buses. The Hali bridge was teeming with pedestrians and no cars.
Apparently there were nine busloads of police in Beşiktaş alone by 7am. How many are there in total in this city, anyway? Do they clone them?? |

And if they don't clone them, where do they find all those short guys with bad teeth? |

I think I worked out when you seldom see so many good-looking women in Taksim of a weekend evening. All the minging ones became police.
Seriously though I saw shit loads of female police this morning. |

Baba take a wander out to the dolphin HQ on the way to Levazim(between Bebek and Akmerkez) all those motor cycle chicks in leather uniforms walking about. if I wasn't a married man I'd find an excuse to hang around police stations.
The Emniyet is also a good place for leather clad police girlies..

Hey! You can say crotchless panties but you can't say Charles D!ckens on this site. Wow. Skewed censorship priorities. Baba, I am surprised you haven't taken advantage of this.
