"Do they behave similarly?" No they do not. Each has their own ways. Vietnamese women are somewhat "kinder" in nature but far too prude or are always surrounded by their "family." Chinese women are generally less prude but not as "sweet" on approach.

Not a good place to do that. Heavy family involvement by time the first date commences and girls here hardly lie -- rarely anyways -- to their own kind. Unless you're talking about some PNL flies which is not dating at all, it's direct exchange of money -- not much available anyways.

"Will I be followed by the local intelligensia?" I'd doubt it in HCMC.

I wasn't sure what to expect in that regard.

Sounds like a tough market to find a nice, steady girlfriend while I'm there.

No problems in Korea and Japan. Chinese women - not interested. They're quite cold.
