I have an ESOL endorsement throught the State of Florida....Does it mean much in acquiring jobs abroad?....Thanks in advance |

If you want to teach children, yes. CELTA, Trinity, SIT, and the various generic 100-120-hour certification courses are entry-level qualifications for teaching adults (though, theoretically, you could apply such training to teaching children). Having a state teacher certification would certainly put you in a good position to qualify for jobs in international schools (schools that use American, Brit, Aussie, IBO, or a similar curriculum). |
