It seems this school doesn't have a very good reputation.
Can anyone comment on the place?
Any recommendations of schools in Taiwan that are worth checking out for experienced and mature teachers whoc don't want to teach infants/kids?
Thanks much. |

My only comment would be that would have to be very specific about the school's location to get an accurate review. Names of prestigious universities like Harvard, Cambridge and Cornell are "borrowed" as names for many cram schools and kindergartens here. I would venture to guess that there are any number of "Cornell" language schools around. |

Taoyuan Steve is correct. I know of at least three schools that use Cornell in their name:
Cornell American School in Taoyuan
Cornell Language School (AKA Jordans School) in Xinzhu (Hsinchu)
Cornell International Language Training Center in Zhonge city Taipei
Myesl the one that you are asking about is the one that was previously a Jordans school.
There was some bad press about them back in 2000/2001 but I have not seen anything recently. Hopefully they learned the hard way how bad press can affect them and straightened themselves out. |
