Howdy Doody!

Been away from Jakarta and Indo (and this forum) for about a year (long over-due rest) - So, Hi to my old forum pals here at happy teachers.com!

Anyway, I'll be back in Jtown in June and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas about some new places to hang out of an evening - excluding a certain two streets, which can be guessed at.

Any suggestionios would be v-groovy and appreciated.

New bars? Pool halls? Any old baylocks you can think of outside of Kebon Siri and Blok-M.

Of course, although it's my intention to avoid the above (Jaksa etc.), I'd be interested to hear of any new places there too if I'm honest, coz I'll no doubt end up there sooner or later. Trying to make it later.

Hopefully (just to pretend this is teacher related) some new arrivals to the teaching scene in Jakarta can learn of nice places to go.
Doesn't even have to be night stuff, I just want to try new places/things in Jakarta.

So go on share some places wiv me!
