well, here i go again, from my last post i was about to get married to my girlfriend, and now were 1 month married. and i'm just waiting for my dependant visa to come out. a month more maybe
I made my way to EMB queen's road east, wanchai. just 3 days ago.
they just handed me an application form. but i was hoping that they could answer some questions i had. but maybe i should save it for the interview.
as i was on the MTR on the way back home. i was scheming through the categories and then the "not later the 22nd of january 2007" deadline came up.
well i called the EMB NET office and asked about the deadline, the woman said that if i could just bring in the completed application form, along with my originals and copies of my diplomas and degrees. said it was ok.
so if anyone out there who feels that maybe it was too late to apply, you can still try it out. but i'm still waiting for my transcript back from home so it might take a while.
PS. oh yea, the day i went there, they were already conducting some interviews.
well good luck to all of us

With all due respect: are you a native speaker of the English language? It is hard for me to decipher from your post.
Thank you for the update on EMB machinations...

your very much welcome, and i hope i can share more developments of my application as I hope it should be useful to some.
as to your question about the "nativeness" of my english, well actually english is more or less my 2nd langauge. but I try my best. being trilingual has somehow made me a master of none.
but i have been teaching english / ESL in my native country about a year and a half. sorry if my first post wasn't really as "polished" as i would want it to be. at that time i was eating "lo pa ko" or radish cake, so i was typing with one hand.
no offence taken... |
