I am aware that if one wants to work at a university in Taiwan you need an MA but a distance learning MA will not do....I am wanting to know if a distance learning MA will suffice to work in HIgh-schools and other non-universtity institutions or not? Also, is there anywhere in TAiwan where an MA can be studied like in TOkyo there is an American university etc....
Thanks

A lot of local universities have English language MA programs. Not sure of their validity or acceptability outside of Taiwan, but they almost certainly will qualify for uni teaching purposes here. |

I would prefer to work in High-schools, but I don't have a PGCE or a BEd, I have a degree in TESOL and a CELTA but I was told that my degree altough is in teaching english as a foreign language will not surrfice. So, I was wondetring if an MA in education or ELT is....
any ideas? |
