It's true!

Based on ghost logic, by coming to Turkey one loses weight and by going to America one gains weight, according to some worldwide weight statistic he took the time to look up and share with us.

Based on this same brilliant logic, coming to Turkey causes one's hair and eyes to become dark, while going to America increases your chances of having lighter eyes and hair because if you look at the statistics of hair and eye color, you will see this is true. I'm not bothering to look up these statistics to share with you.

In other news, Ender sends his regards to everyone.

My hair used to be brown in Canada, then when I moved to the UK it mysteriously alternated between blond and purple and now it's kind of red. I think it's due to the diet here. My eyes have stayed the same. How odd.

Am neither fatter nor thinner though.

The Gulf tends to make one's eyes sink more and more deeply into the face ... I'll have eyes in the back of my head in a few years time ...

Harry the hobbit has now grey hair since coming to this green and pleasant land ,Harry thinks it may have something to do with the strong sunlight one also feels it may come from having to deal with too many trucklunt young persons who do not appreciate the hobbits efforts to educate them .
The hobbits eyes have changed colour from a ligt green to a bright red which one may say comes from too much burning of the candle at both ends . Ahhhh, such is a hobbits life .

Harry - it is a combination of genetics (mostly) and stress may also play a part. Teaching can be a stressful job because you are called upon to put on a show every time you lead a class....it gets to you after a while.

In Korea, where I now teach, the most animated teacher who teaches next to my class, and who is a virtual carbon copy (humor wise) of Robin Williams, has lost all his hair, and he is just 51 years old. His whole class is basically one big joke session, and he is remarkable in that it is all off the cuff, not rehearsed - but it gets to him, nevertheless.

Ender developed some male pattern baldness about a month after he was born, but it's coming back...

See?

Kind of an interesting life cycle foreshadowing, innit? He's a very handsome baby, balding or not.

He's much better looking now that he's got some new fuzz on his pate...

I just really like bragging about him, nazar be damned.

He is only wearing one layer of shirts and his arms are bare. Aren't you afraid that you are slowly killing him? And his mouth is open... all the air will come in and poison him with invisible gaseous fumes and slowly cause his muscles to dissolve and....

He is cute though.

Masallah.

Hehe. It drives MIL crazy. Whenever she sees him like this, she says approximately 500 million billion times:

'Yaz geldi, yaz. Annesi!'
'Gneş alıyor, ha ha gneş, annesi!'

She speaks in a really high pitched voice that literally causes my milk to curdle-- I know this because last time we were at her house, Ender puked this curdled milk all over my leg...
