Anyone have experience living in this city? Is it nice, lively, easy to get to London? |

Well, I luv it ... but I would say that cos thats where we live.
Lots of history - Oldest recorded town in England - so it wont let you down. Regular trains into London - about 45 minutes. Not far from the coast so nice beaches for you as we are coming into Summer. Lots of pubs in the centre. A couple of night clubs. Wonderful castle and Park. Lots of events happening in Summer. PM me if you have anything specific you wanna know.
The links below give you some pictures if you search the dropdowns.

Basil, it's a pity that everyone else in the Uk plays football. |

Not in small measure due to the the generosity of the team I support...
You'll also appreciate how the football ground so neatly illustrates the concept of 'quaint'.. It'll also enable you to understand that football culture is embedded in the UK, and that we don't all support Man U. My niece, bless 'er, supports Cambridge United! |
