I fell in love with Mexico this year, so I have to move there. I was thinking what to do, so I could come there with a job already, so I found this oportunity.
I did secondary pedagogical school, I wanted to teach English and German in Slovenia, but life turned otherwise, so I studied economy and I worked in IT company as a sales and purchase manager for 10 years, but I have daily used both languages.
So, maybe I have a second chance to do what I love to.
I did my TEFL certificate with 95% and also Business English and Teaching Young. I also got a Job placement advisor.
What do you suggest would be the wisest to do? Just wait if she is going to find me any job? Should I search anyhow by myself a job in Mexico? If, how do you advise to do it ? I asume, that my biggest problem is, that I am not a native speaker.
So, I am asking you to suggest me, what to do next, to come to Mexico.
Thank you, |

Has your job placement advisor suggested you contact the Mexican Consulate nearest you to find out about your entry requirements to Mexico? That is a first step for some foreign nationalities. If you enter and then get told you have to report to Immigration and renew your tourist visa every 30 days it is a big pain, especially if you don't end up near an Immigration office. |

Thank you Samantha.
I can get tourist visa for 3 months authomaticly on airport at the moment I come to Mexico. At least that Slovenia is part of EU is helpful, I think.
So what do you think I should do now?
I am learning Spanish, of course, that is what I can do from here. I would like to get any advice from you and all foreign teachers, that already are there and know how the real situation is there.
Thank you |
