| I am going to be working in UAE on a self employed basis. Can anyone recommend a company offering accident and health insurance cover? Many thanks. |

The UAE just got rid of its old health care insurance. Visitors staying over 2 months can buy insurance from the government. I am not sure how good it is, but i assume it is better than nothing.
I think the insurance its called DAMAS.
My kids had it while we were waiting on my visa. We never used it, but other teachers at my school used it and have not complained. |
