				| I saw an ad for a job in Moscow where salary was quoted as US$1586 including tax, US$850 after tax. 
 That's almost half the pay cheque gone on tax!! Is this normal? Such a high proportion of pay being taken as tax just seems wrong somehow.

				| Sounds like bollocks to me. It's a 13% flat tax on white salary here. I think they can take 30 % in the first 180 days but half seems like a big scam to me. |  |

				| Thanks for the reply. The ad was for Oxford Crown as I found out later, and everything I've heard about them sounds a bit dodgy so far (unless anyone can say nice things to change my opinion!). Think I'll steer clear. |  |
