Worked next door in Kyrgyzstan. I liked the place.
From what I have heard, there is a lot of corruption involved with the schools in Kazakhstan. A lot of the schools are apparently fronts for money laundering.
The Kazakhs, Russians, and Kyrgyz are extremely welcoming, open-minded, and appreciative.
A lot of info can be found on the CIS forum (within Europe, for some reason), although it's been a while since I checked it out. |
