Harry the hobbit has made an interestering discovery regarding how to be successful in the teaching profession in Turkey . After close and careful examanation of the profile of many of the most respected and regarded members of teaching staff at his locale the truth is undeniably clear . The hobbit is aware that generalizations are a bit risky and there are one or two exceptions but generally the rule is the same .
Those most well respected and admired and even imitated ,therefore by definition successful have one thing in common .
They all are bilingual . Not just have a nice day thanks bilingual ,but full blown bilingual ,Harry means able to hold a conversation on deep and meaningful subjects such as ,well here the hobbit is stumped as following the language is not high on his list of agendas but certain "native speakers" seem to trip over themselves to use it at the drop of a hat thus elevating their status esp when using well rehearsed phrases and idomatic expressions ,seems to work every time .
On the down side these well regarded folk have in the hobbits eyes have very little if no real teaching panache and prefer to look down on the rank and file with distain . Furthermore ,the hobbit has noticed that they seem incapable of holding prolonged conversations with fellow native speakers of English as they have lost their edge .Contractions are hardly ever used and one may describe their speech as stilted .
But the hobbit is all to aware that these people have power so one must not mention names .So thats it folks if one wants to be a winner than Kornişur the Turke . By the by does anyone in forum land agree or disagree with the hobbits remarks ?

Harry believes there is a special Turkish word for it which roughly translated means a.r.s.e. crawler , so yes thats it ! The hobbit defines success as being able to convince the higher ups that one is doing a lot when infact one does sweet f. a . In addition ,one is able to pich ideas from peers and later masqurade them as ones own . Harry is at the bottom of the food chain as he won't , can't bring himself to do such a thing . So lovelace look,,,, some things freak hobbits out !

Like using the 1st person singular? Go on Harry. Try it. Ar.se licking is part of any profession. Deal with it or stay bottom(haha) of the food chain.
