Hey Guys,
I've been teaching the Thais for a bit now, but sometimes my ice-breakers just don't hit it off in class. The students (age 16 to 20s) really love having FUN, but sometimes, I cannot always think of FUN new warmers to do!! This would be for a Gen. English class.
Could anyone share some successful ones or a website they always turn to for their Thai students??
Thanks! |

Take any game that you know of - and turn it into a competition. I've seen even older adult Thais knock each other down to win a simple game.
The game could be as simple two teams giving examples of verb forms, count vs. non-count nouns etc. Doesn't matter - a competition is worth killing for! But, make them get up and move around for it somehow. Write it on the board, whatever. |
