I don't know if I am allowed to do this in the forum... but is anyone looking for a job in Tokyo?
I've been here teaching for about ten months now at a small eikaiwa. But I've recently found a corporate job (a big time job!) and I'm getting ready to leave my teaching job... so I'm trying to help my school find a replacement teacher before I go next month.
While I must admit that teaching kids is not really my cup of tea, this has by far been the EASIEST job I've ever had in terms of hours and schedule. Just 25 hours a week and only in the afternoons and evening. Imagine only working three hours on a Monday from 6 pm - 9 pm! And no weekends. I am definitely going to miss my free time... and the long holidays... but this new job is too good to pass up.
So... if anyone is interested in teaching in western Tokyo (close to Kokubunji) and likes working with kids (about 75% of the classes are kids), please send me a PM and I will give you more details about my job!!

Lemme guess, this job sucks so bad light can't escape, the only way out is for you to ensnare some other poor soul into replacing you.
Good Luck. |

No man... the simple truth is I just don't have the right personality for teaching kids. It's just not for me. But if you like kids, then great, the job is awesome! |
