A simple question: what is the likelihood of coming to either Santiago or Valparaiso in mid- to late July, armed with a BA in English, a CELTA and significant experience, and finding steady work (meaning enough to support oneself, frugally) until at least the Christmas break? Thanks for any input. |

I cant tell you anything about Valparaiso, but I reckon most schools in Santiago would welcome you with open arms, since you have the qualifications, and June - August is peak season . What nationality are you? US is fine, but if you are British there is a bit of a problem getting work permits at the moment - most Brits I know are leaving - hence good job availability in Santiago. Look up the list of schools and get emailing! See forums for warnings about good/bad schools! There are some very dodgy ones here. Good luck! |
