Where do the native speakers hang out here in Poznan? Where are the writers, painters and poets? Looking for company.

Jan.

All (+ Jan):

In response to Jan's question about where the native speaker's hang out in Poznan, I'm not EXACTLY sure, but I've met other native speakers in the English language section of the Empik bookstore. I no longer live right in Poznan, but would venture to guess the Irish pub might be another good bet.

I've already met some folks in the English sections of bookstores. I'm not just looking for any old company. I mean, there are enough foreigners here that all you need to do is fake receiving a mobile call while on the tram, and you'll see the heads turn. I was wondering about where the artists hang out. Where are the english speaking literary circles etc...
misteradventure...my email is [email protected].
give me a shout.

sorry but there really isnt an artsy place in poznan.i lived there for years and will be there again in 2 weeks as i have a son there.bydgoszcz has a lively music scene and its only a couple of hours away.poznan is geared up for business.the rynek now has a zillion bars and restaurants.when i first went there, there were only 2.go to krakow if you want art and literature.the only artists youll find in poznan are pishartists.
