i have 10 years esl teaching experience and an MA in photography.

what type of jobs would i expect to find in s.korea?

is it easy to find a job upon arrival?.....or better to find one first?

i would preferably like to work in a visual arts environment....is this possible?

any info would be greatly appreciated

If you are Caucasian, Korea is a great place. If you are a person of color, Korea is also a great place, but there is a double standard.

Ultimately, Koreans are polite regardless, but Koreans are especially enamored of WASP culture and whites will generally find higher pay and an easier time. I lived in Korea for two years and I could not get a date...

It really depends on the type of person you are. It's a matter of what you can deal with and what you cannot.

Korea is a very hard country to live in for many reasons.

I would think it would be best to find a job when you arrive. Or you will be greatly disappointed.

Questions and discussions regarding living and teaching in South Korea should take place on the Korean Job Forum:
