Having worked with some dysfunctional TESOL teachers in China and having become concerned about the implications of this, I have chosen this topic as a research paper for my undergraduate studies.
I am seeking information from anyone who has also had the experience of a dysfunctional colleague.
Please share any first hand knowledge you have of dysfunctional teachers and teacher misconduct, but NO NAMES or other identifying information.
Thank you.

Whilst I have worked with some, I cannot see how these anecdotes could form the basis of even mildly serious research. Additionally, some here have been known to exaggerate, possibly to make themselves look especially virtuous, not to mention professional.
Please explain further.

First, define 'dysfunctional'.

I think that the two previous posters have offered a good starting point for the topic that the OP raised -- first, a clinical definition of what a dysfunctional foreign teacher in China may be and second, if indeed this is for a research paper, then there should be an attempt to quantify the information so as to avoid excess.

If Mister T is really going to do any kind of research, anecdotal evidence is totally unacceptable.

Consult "Research Methods in Education" (5th edition) (2005) by Cohen, Manion and Morrison, Routledge Falmer, and they will tell you about ethics, validity, and strategies for data collection and researching. Anecdotal evidence is a complete no-no.
