I'm in the process of booking my return flight from Santiago and would like to come home for the holidays around December.

I'm trying to narrow down a date.

What is the Chilean vacation time around xmas? Especially for teachers, when does this vacation time generally start and end?

I can't say for sure what the norm is. But I know that at my job, I only work the first two weeks of December. Most people (at my job) take a long vacation for the holidays.
