Most teaching jobs in Japan I've seen advertised online require you to be in Japan, so I want to set myself up in Japan and look for work once there. However, amongst the requirements of a WHV (for Aussies at least) are details of pre-arranged employment. If this is required then the WHV (initially) doesn't seem to have much advantage over a WV.

Can anyone who has been through this let me know what standard of "details of pre arranged employment" the embassy will accept?

(Paranoid preempt against flame: Yes, I could email the embassy but I want to know what they'll let through rather than what they'd ideally prefer).

Actually when I got my WHV it said you're NOT supposed to have pre-organised work, I had to sign my contract after I arrived here.
