Finally! I have my alien registration card:-) Now i can get off the prepaid and into a better cell phone plan....has anyone done this recently who can give me good advice on good cell phone deals? I'm looking to a phone with a decent camera, web or at least email capability, and an mp3 would be nice:-)
Any wise or knowledgeable words anyone?
Thanks,

Can't help you for soap. As for cell phones, Bic Camera usually has the best deals. There's not really much need to get an expensive phone. I have D902is but I waited until it came down to about 5000 yen before getting it. I would just pic up a cheap 1 yen phone. They all have good cameras (better than basically all North American phones) and although I can play music on my phone, I would really recommend just sticking with using your own MP3 player (or buying one if you dont have one). |

I assume you're looking for a whole new plan, not just a cell phone? I know people with Docomo and AU, and it seems like they're happy with both. I have Softbank because they have the "White Plan" where you can call other Softbank phones for free during the day. Softbank also offers decent international roaming, if you're going to spend time outside of Japan. Their basic phones are cheap (mine was zero yen with the plan), although they don't all play music as well as some of the phones from the other companies. I guess it kind of depends on what you're looking for. I compared all three companies before I went with Softbank, which had the best deal for what I need a phone for.
Sorry, I'm not sure where to get that particular kind of insect soap. If you're not happy with other options offered in Japan, you may be able to find a couple items at the foreign buyer's club... www.fbcusa.com
I think they have some roach killer, ant killer and maybe some other stuff. |
