When I was in junior high I joined a fraternity gang. There were 2 things I learned from my gang leader- 1) Don't get too close to your enemy if you don't have friends around. 2) The person who get caught in the middle but keeps on firing at everyone is the first target.
I realised somehow, that in many work environment, same thing applies. It only takes a different form, somewhat subtle, but more cruel.

awesome, a thread that starts off with a reference to junior high school gang warfare.
i never had time for a gang when i was in junior high, i was too busy perfecting my "armpit farts" technique and wiping boogies on my teachers car door handles.
can i ask how you chose your gang leader, or was he automatically the leader because he had the most Iron Maiden t-shirts?

he suceeded the former master, after he graduated. Surely he is tough. No teacher will understand the "stupid brotherhood" we had, and no one will believe that he has wisdom to share.
Speaking of leaders. After i graduated, had my own job, the concept of a "LEADER" still confuses me. There's countless of them; political leader, religious leader, gay federation, feminist leaders, etc.
The most confusing of all is when my school principal always talk of leadership in me, yet she treats me like the most stupid being on earth.Im really dumb perhaps, if I may ask, what is a leader anyway???

I'm sorry?
Has this forum suddenly warped into some kind of "The Art of War" forum?
I think a little expansion is needed from the OP.

I notice that in some threads in this site , some arguments leads one to his kind. Who is siding who? whos' against who, and who gets the most bashing? It reminds me of my teenage gang days (whew, this is like explaining to my students) I dont think have to elaborate more, for beefer, youre a genius , youve got a complex and humorus mind!

I sincerely hope the OP isn't employed here teaching English... though I fear he/she may be.

What a joke. This clown reminds me of that accountant on The Onion who acts like a gangster. Your gang leader was promoted after his predecessor graduated? And went to college, right? And let me guess: You're 'hiding out' in Indonesia 'cause you're so bad. It would be funny if not so pathetic.

Beefer, if this guy thinks you're a genius, then I would be worried if I were you!
He thinks I'm like a dumb student for asking him to explain his bizarre ramblings. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
BTW, the OP might want to try the students' forum, this one's for English teachers.

Thats the first note; short and simple ....way too weird to understand, I only compared a WORKPLACE to a past experience and it caused a lot of complications, awesome, Indeed. My apology for being an idiot. Laughing
