I was just offered a job teaching English in Matsuyama City. I am not sure if I will except. I am nervous but excited.
I am looking for any advice from current or past teachers, and anyone who knows about Matsuyama City or the surrounding area. |

I take it you posted this on the Japan board too? As this is your first post it seems unlikely. I'm sure they'll answer quicker over there. |

When you repost this in the Japan forum, you might want to include the prefecture (AKA "Ken"). Sometimes places in Kansai can have the same name as in Kanto- especially for relatively unknown place names. |

Matsuyama is hardly 'some relatively unkown place name", nor is it to be found in Kanto or Kansai - let alone in both!
It's the capital city of Ehime and one of the four biggest cities on Shikoku for pete's sake!
Oh, and it is meant to be nice Ketch. Shikoku is great - if you like mountains and sea. And let's face it your one job offer from Aeon has to be worth any 500 from Nova at the moment! |
