So I am going to go visit this sunday to check out all of the "in"s and "out"s of the school, but I can't seem to get a hold of the lady who hires the English teachers. It also doesn't help that I can't get a hold of my primary contact who is there either (it's been about a week so far). I was wondering if anyone knew what time people are usually in their offices at the school, so that I am able to call her at an appropriate time.

You are talking about BODA College of Jilin University in Siping city, right? Their web site is at www.bdxy.com.cn They have an ad on ChinaTEFL at http://bdxy.chinatefl.com/introduction/bdxy.html

By any chance your primary contact has actually be a recruiting agent, and are you certain you have the job, i.e. have they sent you the documents needed for your Z visa?
