Hello all,
I was just wondering if anybody had more information regarding the validity of the CELTA certificate when applying for teaching positions in Argentina. In other words, how recognized is it in Argentina? Is is recognized at all? If it is could you obtain better positions? I am planning to head down at the end of the year and I would like to know if my Celta will be recognized. I am currently taking the course and plan to pass! lol
Take care all! |

No one I worked with had heard of it... and there's only one centre in Argentina that offers it (IH).
Don't let that put you off... being a gringo gets you work - a CELTA will help YOU in the actual job once you've found one... It will help you show people that you're more serious than someone who has nothing... And if they haven't heard of the qualification, most of them will have heard of Cambridge... |
